Jennifer Malaquias Ryan is a lifelong dancer. She is trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, African, Dancehall, Irish Step, Street and Broadway Jazz, and Hip-Hop. She has held many principal roles as a part of productions in residency during her college career including a principal lead in So You Think You Can Dance’s choreographer, Dwight Rhoden’s Fusion. She then went on as a corps dancer for Martha Graham Studio in NYC to work as lead and corps dancer with Double Up Dance Studio. Jennifer was a dancer and partygoer in musician Ali Berke’s recent music video, Unknown. She currently studies under the mentorship of Paul B. Herman of Press Play, trains regularly at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, and holds a popular TikTok dance channel.
Jennifer’s experience in choreography is extensive. She is regularly retained as a one-on-one movement coach either virtually or in-person for artists in the music industry looking to enhance their basic on-stage presence, train in expanding their movement vocabulary, or create entire tour dances. She also choreographs for artists via TikTok, most recently for musical artist Jake Miller’s hit “Green”. Additionally, has created town flash mobs.
